About Sattu Drink

Sattu is a nutritious powder made with roasted Bengal gram (Kala chana). It is very high in dietary fibres, protein and vitamins. It keeps our body full, cool and hydrated for a long time. It also helps in avoid sunstrokes during summer. 

Ingredients for Bihari Sattu Drink

  • 4 tbsp Sattu (roasted gram flour)
  • 1 tbsp Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves (cilantro)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 tsp Black salt
  • 3/4 tsp Cumin powder (freshly roasted)
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice
  • 1 glass Chilled water
  • Few Ice Cubes

Preparation time – 5 minutes 

Serves – 1 person

Method

  1. Get Sattu, Onion, Coriander leaves, Salt, Black Salt and Cumin powder in a glass.
  2. Add the chilled water.
  3. Mix everything very well. Make sure there are no lumps.
  4. Add lime juice & give a small mix.
  5. Add ice cubes.
  6. Bihari Sattu Drink is ready to drink.
